Participants are encouraged to wear their pajamas and to bring any pillows or blankets to keep themselves comfy. Leaders Club will be serving fresh popcorn and fruit punch! Feel free to bring your own snacks, too! Ages 7 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Ages 8 & 9, parents must stay on the premises.

Our movie for April is “Finding Dory.”

The Davis Family YMCA Offschool program is a fun and unique experience that gives children the opportunity to discover their full potential, meet new friends, play and create memories that last a lifetime! There will be gym activities, camp crafts, swim time, and plenty of opportunities to use our wonderful facility! There is a fantastic trip planned for the end of each week. Drop off is in our Rec Center.

You must be 16 or older (by the END of the class) and pass the Physical Competency Test (to be performed on the first day of class). All classes must be attended. The Physical Competency Test consists of a 300 yd swim, two minute tread using legs only, feet-first surface dive to 10 ft, underwater swim of 15 ft and be able to follow directions. Classes will be held at a combination of both Davis Family AND Central YMCAs.

Based on effective efforts researched by the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program will help you learn about and adopt the healthy eating and physical activity habits that have been proven to reduce the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Through the program, you will receive support and encouragement from both a trained lifestyle coach and fellow classmates as you develop a plan for improving and maintaining your overall well-being. Classes are held at both the Central and Davis Family YMCAs.
