We will reflect on accomplishments and impact in 2016, elect Board of Trustees members, present volunteer awards, and YMCA CEO Tom Gacse will share the current state of our YMCA. Come celebrate the work our members, participants, volunteers and staff do to strengthen our community.

Participants are encouraged to wear their pajamas and to bring any pillows or blankets to keep themselves comfy. Leaders Club will be serving fresh popcorn and fruit punch! Feel free to bring your own snacks, too! Ages 7 and under must be accompanied by a parent. Ages 8 & 9, parents must stay on the premises.

To see if you are eligible for the 12-month program, go through the checklist on the Can I Participate? form. Based on effective efforts researched by the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program will help you learn about and adopt the healthy eating and physical activity habits that have been proven to reduce the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Through the program, you will receive support and encouragement from both a trained lifestyle coach and fellow classmates as you develop a plan for improving and maintaining your overall well-being. Classes are held at both the Central and Davis Family YMCAs.
